Celebrate the flavors of the season with our Summer Cookbook Club. We'll meet the first Wednesday of the month in May, June, July, and August to share dishes, swap notes, and enjoy a meal together. Each month features a different cookbook. Choose a recipe, prepare it at home, and bring it in to share with the group. Seasonal and locally inspired ingredients are encouraged.

In June, we’ll explore The SalviSoul Cookbook: Salvadoran Recipes and the Women Who Preserve Them by Karla Tatiana Vasquez, a cookbook that started as a desire to document recipes and turned into sharing the joys, histories, and tribulations of the women in her life. Copies are available at all the branches!

To help reduce waste, please bring your own mess kit (plate, utensils, etc.). 

Registration is required. Contact our Montague Center Branch librarian, Kate, to sign up and let us know what dish you plan to bring.

The Montague Center Branch Library is located at 17 Center Street in Montague, MA.

Those taking public transit can reach the Branch Library by taking the FRTA Bus Route 23 to the Montague Center Stop.

Accessibility Information:

The Montague Center Branch Library has one accessible parking space, located on the North Street side of the building (to the right side, if you’re facing the front of the building.) The Branch Library is accessible by a wheelchair ramp, also located on the North Street Side. There is an accessible restroom located in the children’s room. There is not an automatic door.
