Make Your Mark: Launchspace Mobile Makerspace Block Printing Workshop for Teens & Tweens

Monday, July 131:30—3:30 PMBrick House Community Resource Center24 3rd St, Turners Falls, MA, 01376

Due to the heat this program will happen at The Brick House.

LaunchSpace Orange is coming to the Brick House with their Mobile Makerspace! They'll teach you how to give your favorite textiles a fresh new look with block printing. Using hand-carved rubber blocks and specialty fabric inks, you'll learn the basics of textile printing and create custom designs on items you bring from home. Tote bags, T-shirts, pillowcases, curtains, and other fabric items are all welcome. It's a fun, creative way to personalize your belongings and explore the art of printmaking.

Registration is required - space is limited.

Please bring your own clean fabric item(s) to print on. If weather conditions are poor, the program will be held at the Brick House Community Resource Center.

This program is supported by grant funds from the Institute of Museum and Library Services, as administered by the Massachusetts Board of Library Commissioners, and the Library Initiative for Teens and Tweens.
